The SR-71 can do mach 3.2. It is sleek and sharp as a knife blade and has no paint because they can’t make paint that can withstand the heat of going 2,500 miles per hour. It’s about as aerodynamic as engineers can possibly make a flying machine.
YET, here is the Space Shuttle. A little less aerodynamic-looking, wouldn’t you say (if you are sane, that is). It goes much faster: mach-22!!! That’s some heat-resistance PVC pipe there. Nice paint job, too!!!
Which one is capable of going super fast through the atmosphere? Your answer must contain sanity.
